Peter Marcy established his independent railway activities in the eighties.
This
Belgian local
supplier quickly grew into an internationally operating Company that rented and sold refurbished
Diesel locomotives,freight wagons,sleeping coaches on various track gauges and equiped with all kind
of couplers as well as two-way rail vehicle, better known as a road-rail vehicle ...
In the year 2001, the Family Business was transformed into a Company form called Marcy International
bvba (MI) .
A major breakthrough was made in 2006 through the active participation of
the Firm Marcy
International bvba in the Global railway fair INNOTRANS
2006 in Berlin.
At this railway fair the Firm Marcy International bvba promoted the rail route type E55 on the
outdoor emplacement FB/4 while the inside stand under the trade name Unilok Benelux in Halle
26.stand 326 was frequently visited by interested international professionals.
Thanks to this
fair participation,our Company received questions from several countries regarding
the upcoming environmental legislation
